This is our home market. The older homes along Douglas Avenue, the historic uptown stock, the heritage Victorians around King's Square — we know them as well as we know the newer builds out in Quispamsis and Rothesay. Different homes, different rules. Saint John houses aren't builder-grade boxes.
Plaster walls, original trim, century-old door frames that aren't quite square, paint histories that go back six layers — these are the homes we work in every week. Coastal weather, real winters, and old wood need products and prep work built for them. That's the kind of care and craft that decides whether a paint job lasts two years or ten.
The Local Crew Behind the Whole Region
Port City Painting is woman-owned. Veronika Latrille owns it, founded it in 2025, and runs each estimate and colour consult herself, with her sister Madelina on the crew as a painter. Wherever the job is, it's the same small team and the same standard. The longer story is on the about page.
